In the 1940s, our Family Farm journey began. There were 13 siblings raised on our farm. They stayed busy by taking care of the apple, peach, & pear orchards. They managed the sand pit & sawmill. They looked after the dairy cows, pigs, chicken, and ducks. I am one of the great grandsons. This is truly a good family farm with plenty of animals that we would love to share with you!
Tim's great-grandfather owned this farm and it’s been handed down from generation to generation. He's been hunting on this farm his entire life. As a child, he spent all of his time working on the farm. He took his first hunter safety course in his hometown when he was in sixth grade. As a kid, the older guys would come through rabbit hunting. Tim only had a BB gun but would tag along and go with them. One of the guy’s nickname was “Stick”. He was Tim’s favorite and still is. Stick would always say, “Come on and stay close to me”. Tim still has that BB gun.
When he turned 14, he decided to start a career in construction. It was a night and day difference from farm work. Tim started his career in Maryland. In the mid-1980’s, he headed to California with a one-way ticket and only brought along $167 and a bag of tools. He was a country boy in California. Tim thanks God for his aunt as she welcomed him with open arms when he got to California. Less than a week later, he joined the Union to work. After about 3 years of working with contractors, he started working for himself. Tim ended up working in construction in entire life but did a little drag racing for about 15 years as well. Then he started competition shooting. Now, he’s the current world record holder at a thousand yards in the NBRSA. Hunting has always been his passion. He would always come back home to Maryland to hunt every year.
